Welcome to the premier blog for military officers looking to transition to civilian leadership roles or who already have, and for the organizations that hire them. We are King Street Associates, a coaching and consulting firm specializing in these unique populations.

This blog is a place for us to share our findings, experiences, and insights and to hear yours. We will do our best to respond to your questions, and hope to create a sense of community among retiring officers and the civilian organizations that need their leadership. We come from the world of business and offer that perspective, which is what most retiring officers are hungry for.

Over the last 10 years, King Street Associates has conducted original research on this subject, and has coached individuals and teams of officers at various stages of the career change. Additionally, we have designed and implemented custom programs for organizations that rely on this population to fill leadership roles in business. We are dedicated to supporting the smooth transition of retiring officers into the civilian world of business.
